Troubleshooting: Cannot import images from CD or DVD

Issue

I cannot import images from a CD or DVD.

Details

To import images, your CD or DVD must be DICOM Part Ten compliant and have a DICOMDIR file at the root of the CD or DVD. If you have a local image viewer on the CD or DVD you can view the images, but you cannot import them into IMPAX.

Solution

1. Use the local image viewer on the CD or DVD to view the images.

   or

2. Contact the image acquisition location and ask them to generate DICOM Part Ten compliant CDs or DVDs in the future (with a DICOMDIR file at the root of the CD or DVD).
