Troubleshooting: Cannot disable automatic cine

Issue

I cleared the automatic cine option in the Customize dialog, but the Cine toolbar is still appearing by default.

Details

Automatic cine can be enabled in the Cine Viewer tab and, for US and XA studies, with the Auto Cine wizards. Ensure that both are disabled.

Solution

To disable all instances of automatic cine

1. If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role.

2. Press F12 or, from the Image area top toolbar, click Customize.

3. In the Customize dialog, switch to the Cine Viewer tab.

4. Select the Modality and Body Part for which automatic cine is to be disabled.

5. Under Performance Options, clear the Auto Start checkbox.

6. Click Apply.

7. To modify other modalities or body parts, repeat steps 4–6.

8. Switch to the Wizards tab.

9. Ensure that US Auto Cine is disabled. If not, select it and click Disable.

10. Ensure that XA Auto Cine is disabled. If not, select it and click Disable.

11. To save the settings and close the dialog, click OK.
