IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Troubleshooting IMPAX Client > Troubleshooting: Exporting and importing images
Details
Possible reasons for this problem include:
Invalid tags in the original DICOM images
A database connection problem occurred between the Application Server and the Image Server
The DICOM Object Sender Windows service is not started
Solution
If publishing a softcopy presentation state fails, try the following:
Use the Job Monitor to check if jobs are being created in the DICOM Object Sender queue.
Ensure the DICOM Object Sender Windows service is running on the Application Server.
Check the following logs for relevant error messages:
AgfaHC.Pacs.Web.log (on the Application Server)
DicomObjectSender.log (on the Application Server)
client.log (on the Client)
You can recover the softcopy presentation state if publishing fails during the transfer to the Application Server. The files are maintained on the Client and on the Application Server in the temp directory.
