Issue
When I try to find studies using Search, or performing an Advanced Search, I search for the studies based on modality being CT, but receive results that include CT, CTCR, CTSC, and CTPET, for example.
Details
To create a worklist or do an search that returns studies where the modality is only CT, you cannot do so because IMPAX searches the series level for modality type.
To summarize:
IMPAX searches at series level for modality type. So if you search for CT studies, it finds any study that has a CT series in it.
If you search for a study using a multi-modality type, such as CTSR, no results are returned because the search is at the series level, and each series is from a single modality only. (Modality types for search criteria are defined in the Administration Tools.)
IMPAX does not have exclusionary rules. For example, it would be impossible to build a General Radiology worklist with CR, CRDR, but no fluoroscopy (CRRF).
