Text area behavior settings: Reference

You can define which Text area panels (order, study or report) automatically maximize when a study is opened in the Text area. This configuration is done in the Text area Behavior tab. The table that follows describes available options.

Option		Description
Show Report		Maximizes the Report panel if a report is available.
	If available, display IMPAX report; otherwise, display DICOM SR	Displays the most recent IMPAX report for the study (stored in the IMPAX database in the Report tab. If the IMPAX report is not available, display the report stored as a DICOM SR (produced by the Connectivity Manager) in the Structured Report tab. Note: If a RIS is integrated with the IMPAX Client, the report generated by the RIS is displayed regardless of this setting. If no report is available, the Dictate Study button is displayed.
	If available, display DICOM SR; otherwise, display IMPAX Report	Displays the most recent report for the study stored as a DICOM SR (produced by the Connectivity Manager) in the Structured Report tab. If the DICOM SR report is not available, displays the IMPAX report (stored in the IMPAX database) in the Report tab. Do not select this option if a RIS is integrated with IMPAX Client (for example, using IMPAX Reporting).
Show Scan		Maximizes the Order or Study panel with a scanned document tab at the top of the panel. Show Scan is only available in an integrated RIS environment.
Show Q and A		Maximizes the Study panel with a Q&A tab at the top of the panel.
Show Order Panel		Maximizes the Order panel with a description tab at the top of the panel.
Show Study Panel		Maximizes the Study panel with a description tab at the top of the panel.
Show panels according to saved settings		Text area panels are displayed according to the saved user settings.
