Creating ultrasound multistage stress protocols

When authenticating with a smart card, impersonation is not available.

To display ultrasound multistage stress studies properly, you must create the hanging protocol.

To create ultrasound multistage stress protocols

  1. If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role, or log in as the user.

  2. Press F12 or, from the Image area top toolbar, click Customize.

  3. In the Customize dialog, switch to the Hanging Protocol tab.

  4. Click New.

  5. In the Hanging Protocol dialog Name field, type Echo Stress Default.

  6. From the Modality list, select US.

  7. Leave the Body Part (if available) at Default.

  8. Under Trigger, in the Attribute Name field, type protocol_name.

  9. In the Value field, type stage.

  10. Select the Automatic checkbox.

  11. In each Rule's numbered slot, enter the following:

  12. Click OK.

  13. Select the Stress Echo Default hanging protocol and click Copy.

  14. Select the copy and click Edit.

  15. In the Hanging Protocol dialog Name field, type Echo Stress (Stage Grouping).

  16. Clear the Automatic checkbox.

  17. Make the following changes in each Rule's numbered slot:

  18. Click OK.

This hanging protocol can now be used with the Set Series Hanging Protocol tool. Also refer to Examples: DICOM values and stress echo protocol display.
