Setting the current study indicator

During primary interpretation, the most recently available prior study in the Image area may be interpreted by the user as the current study, if for some reason the current study is not available. IMPAX can explicitly warn the user if none of the studies being displayed are within a configurable period from the current time, as determined by the acquisition date of the study, by displaying the text Not current next to the pin symbol.

To set the current study indicator

  1. If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role.

  2. Press F12 or, from the Image area top toolbar, click Customize.

  3. In the Customize dialog, switch to the Comparative Review tab.

  4. Switch to the User Settings tab.

  5. Select the Identify studies as Not Current when older than checkbox.

  6. In the Period of current study from the real time field, type the number of days to consider for a current study.

  7. To save the changes and close the Customize dialog, click OK.
