Configuring the spoke Connectivity Manager HL7 settings

Set up HL7 communications from the spoke Connectivity Manager to the hub Connectivity Manager.

To configure the spoke Connectivity Manager HL7 settings

  1. Log in to Connectivity Manager Service Tools.

  2. Hover the pointer over Device Manager and select Real World Devices.

  3. Click the name of the HL7 device.

  4. In the General section, in the Sending Facility box, type the unique spoke Connectivity Manager identifier.

  5. In the General section, in the Sending Application box, type the spoke Connectivity Manager AE Title.

  6. In the HL7 In section, in the Save Triggers list, select true.

  7. In the HL7 In section, in the Trigger Path box, type E:\triggersin.

  8. In the HL7 In section, in the Save Error Triggers list, select true.

  9. In the HL7 In section, in the Trigger Error Path box, type E:\triggersin\errors.

  10. In the HL7 Out section, in the Remote Host box, type the IP Address or hostname of the hub Connectivity Manager.

  11. In the HL7 Out section, in the Remote Port box, type the port you configured on the hub Connectivity Manager.

  12. In the HL7 Out section, in the Receiving Facility box, type the unique hub Connectivity Manager site identifier.

  13. In the HL7 Out section, in the Receiving Application box, type the unique hub Connectivity Manager AE Title.

  14. In the HL7 Out section, in the Save Triggers list, select true.

  15. In the HL7 Out section, in the Trigger Path box, type E:\triggersout.

  16. In the HL7 Out section, in the Save Error Triggers list, select true.

  17. In the HL7 Out section, in the Trigger Error Path box, type E:\triggersout\errors.

  18. Click Save.
