You can test that the study descriptions at your site match the source patterns, rule numbers, and patient locations you have entered in the Administration Tools.
 | Tip: To monitor possible mismatches, you can assign a specialty of DID NOT MATCH to rule 1,000,000 to represent a description not matched by any rules. If you do this, remember to change the value back to the appropriate text (for example, to DEFAULT) after running the test. |
To test a patient location mapping
On the Setup tab, click Patient Location Manager.
In the Test String field, type the patient location to be applied to a mapped location.
Click Test.
If the patient location is matched to a mapped location, the test result dialog shows the source pattern and rule number that apply to the patient location.
If the study description does not match, the default SITE (or DID NOT MATCH) mapping is applied. You may have to refine the source patterns and rule numbers in the system to get the result you want.
To close the Test Result dialog, click OK.
