IMPAX 6.5.1 Server Knowledge Base home > Configuring IMPAX Server with Administration Tools > Relevant Prior Manager
Use the Relevant Prior Manager to configure rules that determine whether a study is a prior to be prefetched or autofetched. These rules prompt the system to retrieve prior studies to cache before the studies are needed. Priors are fetched only if relevant prior rules exist in Administration Tools.
![]() | Note: Relevancy rules can also be defined in the IMPAX Client. These Client rules define which studies are considered relevant, but do not cause them to be prefetched. More information on how Client and Administration Tools rules work together is provided in . |
