The prefetching C-FIND uses a Mitra Private SOP class if the DICOM destination supports it; otherwise, prefetching uses the standard DICOM SOP class. The local cluster establishes a requester to query linked clusters. Jobs are generated to copy the relevant priors coming from linked clusters.
When prefetching studies, the local database is searched first and any duplicates obtained from remote clusters are discarded. If a study is returned from multiple remote clusters but is not found in the local database, the study from the first remote query to finish is retained, and all subsequent duplicates are discarded.
To prefetch studies from linked clusters
On the Setup tab, click Network Management.
Switch to the Configuration tab.
From the list at the bottom of the tab, select the station to configure.
Select the Cluster Linking checkbox.
Select the Link Prefetch checkbox.
Select the Link Internal Queries checkbox.
If Link Internal Queries is selected, a linked query can include both a patient identifier and a global patient identifier. When both identifiers are present, the query performs a match on one or both fields. When only one identifier is present, the other is ignored in the query. If Link Internal Queries is not selected, global patient identifiers cannot be used.
Click Save.
Perform an IIS reset on the Application Server.
