A display response function, or response, is the displayed luminance of image pixel values after the window level. Use the Study Presentation Manager to set up display response functions for modalities.
To create a display function
On the Setup tab, click Study Presentation Manager.
Switch to the Display Function Config tab.
Click New.
In the Response Name field, type a unique and descriptive name for the response.
In the Dmax field, type a value for the dynamic range of the monitor.
Click Save.
