Halting and restarting job queues

If many jobs are going into error status, consider halting the queue until you diagnose and correct the problem. If you halt the queue, jobs in progress are either completed before the halt occurs or are given Suspended status until the queue is restarted.

To halt and restart job queues

  1. On the Monitor tab, click Queue Monitor.Queue Monitor

  2. From the list, select the queue to halt.

  3. Click Halt Queue. Halt Queue

  4. Fix the problem with the queue.

  5. After the problem is fixed, to restart the queue, click Restart Queue. Restart Queue
