IMPAX 6.5.1 Server Knowledge Base home > Configuring IMPAX Server with Administration Tools > Cache Manager
Use the Cache Manager to establish which cache volume to fill first, which is referred to as priority. The cache with the highest priority is filled with incoming images first. The lowest priority is 0; 1 is higher; and 2 is higher still. Therefore, a cache volume with a priority of 0 is used only when all other cache volumes are full.
To set the priority for cache volumes
On the Daily tab, click Cache Manager.![]()
Select the cache volume that you want to fill with images first.
Click Increase Priority. ![]()
The priority value for the selected volume changes. You may need to decrease the priority of other cache volumes or increase the priority again to establish that the selected volume is filled first.
