To create an APIP Routing table for the MG3000, you need a service PC running MG3000 Administration Tools. For assistance, refer to the MG3000 service documentation or contact the Help desk. You can avoid some of the most common problems by checking the following:
Use the current revision MG3000 software.
Make sure that the ACQ and ART tables are properly configured. Under ART0, use port 3140 to send APIP to IMPAX.
Set a unique dataset_id_stem for each acquisition input.
Set the video polarity by adjusting the acq_submode_bw and acq_submode_col parameters in the ACQ tables.
Set up each acquisition channel so that it sends the modality name (for example, US, NM, and so on) to IMPAX.
Make sure that resources are properly allocated among all inputs.
Create appropriate station names for each input under ACQXXX. Near the end of this table, edit the Station_id field and enter unique station names such as ROOM_1, ROOM_2, and so on. Do not leave the default station name MG3000.
Do not use blank spaces in the station_id field.
If you are printing 12- or 16-bit data to the MG3000, check the ilut_vbpp_in parameter under NIPXXX11. To prevent the MG from hanging on large print jobs, the value in this field should be 12 or 16.
Check the amount of RAM to make sure that the MG3000 can handle large print jobs from IMPAX. System requirements recommend at least 3 GB.
