Issue
When I attempt to open a website through Internet Explorer, the page takes a long time to load. During this time, the status bar indicates that Internet Explorer is attempting to auto-detect the proxy settings.
Details
The IMPAX security policy blocks the use of the TCP ports use to communicate with the proxy server, causing the slow response time from Internet Explorer.
Solution
To speed up the response times for Internet Explorer, configure Windows firewall exceptions to allow traffic to and from the proxy server on all ports.
