Creating generic demographic layout templates

You can create generic templates that contain the data that is used by every default modality layout, such as patient name and sex. You can then apply this template to different modalities and modify it to create more complex layouts as required.

To create generic demographic layout templates

  1. On the Setup tab, click Source Manager.Source Manager

  2. Switch to the Other tab.

  3. Click Demographic Layout Manager. Demographic Layout Manager

  4. In the Manager Dialog, in the Modality list, select DEFAULT - GENERIC_LAYOUT.

  5. On the bottom right toolbar, click Copy Layout. Copy Layout

  6. Type the Layout Name for the copied layout.

  7. From the Copy Layout as list, select the modality to apply the generic layout to.

  8. Click OK.

  9. Adjust the fields to be included in this template.

    Note:

    After copying the generic template, the template will not save unless a modification is made to the copied template, such as adding, editing, or deleting fields.

  10. Click Save Layout. Save Layout
