A print page number field is included in all preset demographic layouts for print, and can be added to any custom layouts. When this field is included, IMPAX Client users can select the Include Page Number checkbox in the Export Images or the Composite Layout Chooser dialog and print "Page x/y" on each image, where x is the current page and y is the total number of pages. (If this checkbox is not selected, page numbers are not printed.) The demographic layout defines where on the image this page number appears.
To include page numbers in demographics for print
On the Setup tab, click Source Manager.
Switch to the Other tab.
Click Demographic Layout Manager.
In the Manager dialog, from the Modality list, select the layout to edit.

To create a layout, click New Layout.
If creating a layout, type the Layout Name, and from the Modality list, select the modality that uses the new layout. Click OK.
Click Print.
From the DICOM Fields for <Modality> list, select page_number_information.
Under the Display and Print buttons, select the blank field where you want to place the page_number_information field.
Page numbers can appear in any corner of the image. If no location is selected, the number is placed on the bottom-right corner by default.
By default, numbers print in the form "Page x/y", where x is the current page and y is the total number of pages. To change the Page prefix, modify the text in the Prefix field.
You can also change the Page prefix in preset layouts, if you want. You could, for example, translate it into the local language.
Change any other demographic layouts as appropriate.
Click Save Layout.
Repeat from step 4 for other layouts, as appropriate.
