Available IMPAX Server configuration tools

Various tools, scripts, and utilities are provided for configuring IMPAX Server. Not all are necessarily installed nor accessible to all users.

General

IMPAX Administration Tools

The main configuration interface for IMPAX Server. The Administration Tools include several managers and monitors for configuring and monitoring the various IMPAX servers.

CLUI

A command-line tool for executing SQL statements. CLUI is useful when running the Administration Tools GUI is not practical and for certain advanced tasks.

Those familiar with DICOM can use the DICOM utilities to modify DICOM image and header data, where appropriate.

Modality support

OCR (Optical Character Recognition)

For older modalities that are not capable of sending their images via DICOM, IMPAX can use OCR to read the burned in demographics from images acquired with capture devices.

Oracle database

Oracle comes with its own utilities for managing and monitoring the database, such Oracle Data Guard and RMAN.
