When a C-MOVE request is made, each AE title marked for cluster linking is checked. If the local database finds the requested study, it issues the job. If no matches are found on a local cluster, a standard DICOM C-FIND is performed on linked clusters to try to find a match. If a match is found on a linked cluster, a request is made to move the images as per the original request.
This topic describes how to configure a station to accept external C-MOVE requests.
To configure stations for cross-cluster study transmission
On the Setup tab, click Network Management.
Switch to the Configuration tab.
From the list at the bottom of the tab, select the station to configure.
Select the Cluster Linking checkbox.
Select the Link External Queries checkbox.
Click Save.
Perform an IIS reset on the Application Server.
