Creating a feed worklist using the RIS worklist feed dialog

Using the RIS worklist feed dialog, you can create feed worklists, which are worklists based on RIS criteria.

To create a feed worklist using the RIS worklist feed dialog

  1. In the List area, click the wizard button relating to the feed worklist.

  2. From the Affiliations list, select the role to apply the filters to.

  3. In the Most recently used list of the RIS worklist feed dialog, if applicable, select one of the most recently used filters.

    or

In the All filters section, select a type of filter such as Request, Report, or Dictation. To display an overview of the available filters, click Available filters. Using this dialog, you can select existing filters, create new filters, modify filters, or delete filters no longer required. For further details on filters, refer to the QManager Knowledge Base.

  4. In the Options section, to constrain the filter by date, select the Filter on date checkbox and select a date range.

  5. To limit the resulting worklist to one study per request, report, or dictation, select the Only show one study per request/dictation/report checkbox.

This option is useful for custom sign-off worklists. In this case, only one study is displayed and cycled per report.

  6. To apply the selected filter and return the resulting studies to the Simple Search worklist in the List area, click Import.

Prior studies are included when using the Import button.

  7. To apply the selected filter and immediately cycle the worklist in the Image area and Text area, click Cycle.

    Note:

    Note:

No priors are cycled with the results of the filter. If Relevance is enabled, the Cycle button is ignored.

The resulting worklist is similar to Search results showing results for up to 100 studies known in IMPAX.

Note:

Note:

When importing (or immediately cycling) a RIS worklist in IMPAX, all current studies (including set-aside studies) in the List area, Search results, and Image area are cleared, and only studies for which images exist in IMPAX are displayed. If the RIS search returns studies not known in IMPAX, they are not displayed in the resulting worklist.
