IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Administering IMPAX > Configuring stations > Controlling how Business Services and images are accessed
When defining access to the Business Services or access to images, you can use the following protocols.
| Protocol | Description |
|---|---|
| aspftp | Image access only. Secure Agfa protocol that uses direct TCP connectivity, and is Agfa's high-performing FTP protocol. |
| http | Image access and Business Services access. Standard protocol that is faster than https but not secure. Recommended for use only for stations that are inside the firewall. |
| https | Image access and Business Services access. Secure version of http. Recommended for use with all clients that are accessing IMPAX via an Internet connection. For example, a radiologist working from home can access the Business Services https on a secure server. This protocol must be used for the services that handle password information (UserAdminWebService and LoginWebService). |
