COM conflicts may occur when using COM ports for JL Cooper Media Control Station 2 (MCS2) jog shuttle drivers. To resolve these conflicts, reassign the COM port for the conflicting device driver on the specific station.
To define the COM port for the JL Cooper MCS2 shuttle
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Stations.or
Or, from the List area bar, click the User ID menu
and select Station Configuration.If in the Configure area, in the navigation pane, select a station.
In the details pane, expand the Image Area bar.
Switch to the JL Cooper Jog tab.
From the JL Cooper Jog (MCS2) list, select None or one of the available COM ports.
The port is defined.
If in the Configure area, the changes are saved automatically when you switch context.
