Disabling DOME monitor drivers

If you experience problems with the diagnostic monitors that are using DOME drivers, try disabling the DOME optimizations. If the problems persist, contact Agfa support. The DOME optimization value should only be set by OEM-trained PACS administrators. (To calibrate DOME monitors, use the calibration tools that are supplied by the manufacturer.)

To disable DOME monitor drivers

  1. From the Configure drawer menu Configure drawer menu, select Stations.

    or

Or, from the List area bar, click the User ID menu Configure drawer menu and select Station Configuration.

  2. If in the Configure area, in the navigation pane, select a single station or station container to change all stations within that container.

  3. In the details pane, expand the General bar.

  4. Switch to the Video Card tab.

  5. Select the Disable DOME optimizations checkbox.

The DOME monitor drivers are disabled. To enable the drivers, clear the Disable DOME optimizations checkbox.

  6. If in the Configure area, the changes are saved automatically when you switch context.

    or

Or, if in the Station configure dialog, click OK.

Only supported video cards and video card drivers should be used on diagnostic monitors. If your video card or video card driver is updated unexpectedly and is outside of the supported range, contact Agfa support immediately.
