You can enable or disable a warning beep that sounds for incoming studies for worklists that are auto cycled. To hear the sound, your workstation must be configured with a PC speaker and sound card.
To receive audible notification of incoming studies
From the List or Configure area bar, click the User ID menu.
Select Audible Notification.
When this command is checked, a warning beep is played when a study arrives in a worklist that has been auto cycled.
