Troubleshooting: Images are not being properly displayed on-screen

Issue

Images are not painting to the screen correctly on the diagnostic monitors.

Details

If you are experiencing problems with the video card drivers, or if the video card or drivers were updated, the DirectX Acceleration values set in IMPAX may no longer work properly. This can cause problems with images painting to the screen on the diagnostic monitors.

Solution

CAUTION!

CAUTION!

Ensure that you contact customer support after changing the DirectX Acceleration value. The DirectX Acceleration amount should be set only by qualified PACS Administrators.

In the Configure Area - Stations section, try setting a lower DirectX Acceleration value, moving from 4 down to 1. Refer to Selecting the DirectX Acceleration applied to studies.

Exit IMPAX after changing this setting and log in again to check whether images on the diagnostic monitors are displayed appropriately.
