Troubleshooting: Knowledge Base not displaying in preferred language

Issue

The Client Knowledge Base is not appearing in the language I want.

Details

The IMPAX Client Knowledge Base (available in English) is a comprehensive set of information that details how radiologists, clinicians, specialists, and PACS administrators configure and use the IMPAX Client software.

The IMPAX Client Knowledge Base: Core is available in Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, and Traditional Chinese. As long as it is installed on the Application Server, the Knowledge Base is displayed in those languages based on the Windows Locale setting of the computer.

If the Knowledge Base is not available in the interface language (usually because that Knowledge Base was not installed), you must manually redirect the URL to the English Knowledge each time you open a page.

Solution

To change the language used in the Knowledge Base, do one of the following:

• Change your Windows locale setting to match the language you want to view the Knowledge Base in. (If that does not work, ensure that the translated Knowledge Base is available on the Application Server your computer is connected to.)

• Go the IMPAX Client Knowledge Base home page. Click the IMPAX 6.5 Client documentation (including Translations) link on the home page. On the translations page, select the language.
