At Veteran Army (VA) sites, a prefix is added to accession numbers to represent the site or family relationships (such as wife or child of a veteran). To ensure that the IMPAX/TalkStation integration works correctly, you can configure the IMPAX system to strip these prefixes.
To remove prefixes from accession numbers at VA sites
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Preferences.In the navigation pane, select the user or role to configure.
In the details pane, expand the Text Area bar.
On the Reporting tab, select TalkStation.
Select the For VA sites, remove checkbox.
Type or select the number of characters to remove from the beginning of accession numbers.
The changes are saved automatically when you switch context.
