Troubleshooting: I am locked out after X number of unsuccessful login attempts

Issue

I try to log into the IMPAX Client using a smart card and the login fails. After a certain number of unsuccessful login attempts, the following message is displayed:

The system cannot log you in. The smart card is blocked.

Details

Your smart card has locked. You cannot log into the IMPAX Client using a locked smart card.

Solution

Contact your smart card administrator so he or she can unlock or re-issue your card.
