Determining when to display TalkStation

You can configure when to display TalkStation for use by those who have permission to dictate reports.

To configure when to display TalkStation

  1. From the Configure drawer menu Configure drawer menu, select Preferences.

  2. In the navigation pane, select the user or role to configure.

  3. In the details pane, expand the Text Area bar.

  4. On the Reporting tab, select TalkStation.

  5. Under the Display Talkstation section, select when you want to display TalkStation:

    • After logging into IMPAX

    • After opening a study.

    • When beginning dictation of the study. This is the default option.

    • When ending the dictation so you can review the comments.

  6. To remove a specified number of characters from the beginning of the accession number, select the For VA sites, remove checkbox and specify the number of characters you want removed.

    The changes are saved automatically when you switch context.
