Troubleshooting: The station container is not visible in the Administration Tools Image Access Manager

Issue

The station container I created in the IMPAX Client Configure area is not visible in the Administration Tools Image Access Manager.

Details

Normally this problem is solved by restarting the Administration Tools processes.

Solution

If the destination (such as the station container virtual AE title created in the IMPAX Client Configure area) is not listed in the Image Access Manager, try stopping and restarting the Administration Tools process.

CAUTION!

CAUTION!

Stopping the Administration Tools service disconnects any logged-in IMPAX users, so time this action carefully.

To stop and restart the Administration Tools process on an AS300 server

  1. Open the Windows Administrative Tools and select Services.

  2. Stop and restart the service.

To stop and restart the Administration Tools process on an AS3000 server

  1. To stop and restart the service, in a terminal window, type

    /etc/init.d/IMPAXjsgw stop ; wait 10 ; /etc/init.d/IMPAXjsgw start

To confirm that images are being accessed correctly

  1. From the IMPAX Client Image area, click Service Window. Service Window In the Display Service Tool window, select the image and ensure that it was retrieved from the correct cache location.

    or

    On the remote Network Gateway, log aspftpd in DEBUG and review the log file. In CLUI, type

    log debug MVF_ASPFTP

    You should see the accepted connection from the IP address of the Clients in the station container.
