In Auto Link mode, all coplanar series are linked and navigated together. For series to be considered coplanar, they must be parallel. However, this concept of coplanarity is flexible to allow for an acceptable variation. This means that for a particular active series, other similar series will be considered coplanar if they are within the specified allowance, in either direction. The allowance must be in the range from zero to 45 degrees.
![]() | Note: You can specify the allowance when Auto Link mode is active, which is the default. It cannot be set if either Manual link mode or Navigate All mode is activated. |
To specify the acceptable allowance for off-axis series
From the Image area context or top toolbar, right-click Link Series.
In the Link Preference menu, under Auto Link, select the Include series within checkbox.
Specify the acceptable allowance for a series to be considered coplanar to the active series.
Valid entries are between zero and 45, in increments of 5 (0, 5, 10, 15, …, 45).
![]() | Note: Zero is actually considered to be 0 plus or minus 0.5 degrees to allow for rounding errors. |
The new coplanarity allowance is in effect for this and subsequent sessions.
