Troubleshooting: The security certificate has expired or is not installed

Issue

When users with permission to manage stations and users log into the IMPAX Client workstation, the following error message appears:

The security certificate has expired or is not installed. Please contact your system administrator.

Details

The SSL certificate on the Application Server has an expiry date. When the SSL certificate on the Application Server has expired, this warning message is displayed to all users that can ensure that a new certificate is requested and imported onto the Application Server. Users cannot log on to the IMPAX system until a valid SSL certificate has been imported.

Solution

When the warning message appears:

  1. Create a new SSL certificate request.

  2. Submit the new SSL certificate request.

  3. Import the new SSL certificate and assign it to the appropriate services.
