Issue
When panning an image using the Paired Pan and Zoom tool, the image becomes scrambled on non-diagnostic monitors.
Details
Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit) and the specific type of video card you have installed on the non-diagnostic monitors could cause the images to be scrambled. The issue has been observed on Windows 7 with the Quadro FX 580 video card.
Solution
Ensure the video card drivers are up-to-date.
In the Configure Area - Stations section, try setting a lower DirectX Acceleration value, moving from position 5 down to 4, 3, or 2. Refer to Selecting the DirectX Acceleration applied to studies.
Exit IMPAX after changing this setting and log in again to check whether images on the non-diagnostic monitors are displayed appropriately.
![]() | CAUTION! Ensure that you contact customer support after changing the DirectX Acceleration value. The DirectX Acceleration amount should be set only by qualified PACS Administrators. |
