IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Administering IMPAX > Configuring search
Radiologists and clinicians often need to search the Internet for details regarding a particular study. For example, the radiologist might search the Internet on a new procedure protocol to help with his diagnosis for a study. This may involve searching based on a differential diagnosis or procedure protocols. Certain institutions also have their teaching file system, or other web-based information systems, such as a RIS or LIS that users want to integrate with IMPAX using a URL that can be constructed with study data.
You can customize web-based searches with additional parameters in the Study panel of the Text area.
