Troubleshooting: White X's appear instead of images

Issue

Images are not displayed correctly on clients that are used with standalone servers.

Details

When attempting to display images from certain modalities such as MR and CT, clients used with standalone servers display white X's instead of the images.

Solution

When used with a standalone server, configure the client to use the ASPFTP protocol (port 3040 on the localhost). This is done through the Image Access tab, as described in Configuring access to images using storage groups and Determining how images are accessed.
