Troubleshooting: Breast images are not stacking

Issue

I have applied field mappings and have the MG Split and Regroup wizard enabled but breast images are not stacking.

Details

Field mappings only apply to images received by IMPAX after they have been applied.

Solution

1. From the Image area context or top toolbar, click Service Window.

   Or, if using the context toolbar text menu (Ctrl + right-click), select Information > Service Window.

2. In the bottom window, you should see an object_detail, hanging_protocol line if the Field Mapping was applied correctly. If this line is not present or populated with values similar to the example, your Field Mapping did not get applied correctly.

   The value is either Laterality/Code Value or Laterality/Mapped View (CC or MLO), depending upon the Field Mapping used, for example:

   [ object_detail, hanging_protocol ] = "L/R-10242" ( 9, 33 )
   or
   [ object_detail, hanging_protocol ] = "R/MLO" ( 5, 33 )
   

3. Ensure that the Station Name, Institution, and Department identified in the DICOM header of the image matches the station that you pasted the mapping into in the Source Manager of the Administration Tools.

4. Ensure that the mapping has been correctly pasted as an expression in the Field Mappings tab of the Source Manager. No special characters or carriage returns should be added.

5. If everything looks correct but the images still do not stack, contact Agfa Support.
