If an Application Server requires maintenance or needs to be upgraded, you can remove it from rotation without causing any interruptions to users.
To remove an Application Server from rotation
In the Cisco Web Content Services Switch Management interface, in the Configuration section, select Web Content.
Under Web Content, select Service.
In the Select Service Name panel, select the service for the HTTP connection.
Click Suspend.
Select the service for the HTTPS connection.
Click Suspend.
The Application Server service is disabled and removed from rotation.
