Adding a remote IMPAX RIS report source

To the primary IMPAX RIS, a secondary IMPAX RIS installed on an Application Server is a "remote" IMPAX RIS. A second IMPAX RIS installed on a single Application Server is also considered a Remote IMPAX RIS. To enable access to reports from the remote IMPAX RIS, the primary Application Server must have a remote IMPAX RIS report source added in the Business Services Configuration Tool.

To add a remote IMPAX RIS report source

  1. Ensure that the Application Server has been prepared for the IMPAX RIS connection.

  2. Configure the custom RIS mappings in Connectivity Manager.

  3. Open the Business Services Configuration Tool.

  4. Switch to the Web Services tab.

  5. In the Report Info Sources area, click Add.

  6. In the Edit Report Source dialog, in the Report Source Provider field, type the Default Assigning Authority name identified when the Connectivity Manager custom RIS mappings were configured.

A maximum of 64 characters can be entered in this field.

  7. From the RIS Type list, select Remote Agfa RIS.

  8. In the URL field, type the following:

    http://remote_server_name/AgfaHC.Ris.Web.Services/ReportInfoWebService.asmx

where remote_server_name is the IP address or hostname of the remote Server or Application Server hosting the RIS.

  9. If you have added an additional IMPAX RIS database to the Application Server, in the URL field, type the URL of the new virtual directory.

  10. To close the Edit Report Source dialog, click OK.

  11. To close the Business Services Configuration Tool, click OK.
