Occasionally licenses are assigned to a user, and are never released back in to the pool of available licenses. Use the -cancel command to force all licenses to be released, and make them available again to IMPAX Client users.
To release an active license using License Manager
View a list of all active licenses and take note of the serial number of the license to be released.
At the prompt, display the status of the license.
In the status list, locate the license session you want to release.
At the prompt, type almadmin -cancel ticket_id
where ticket_id is the ticket ID number of the license session to be released. For example, type almadmin -cancel d4c5d2ab89bc43c74b.
