Connecting an Application Server to a local IMPAX RIS

The primary IMPAX RIS used by the Application Server is considered a "local" IMPAX RIS. Only one local IMPAX RIS can be configured for an entire cluster. The following steps identify the local IMPAX RIS that will supply the patient, study, order, and report information displayed in the IMPAX Client Text area.

To connect the Application Server to a local IMPAX RIS

  1. Connect to the RIS database server.

  2. Add the local IMPAX RIS as a report source.
