IMPAX 6.5.1 Server Knowledge Base home > Monitoring IMPAX Server > Viewing system logs, events, and exceptions
The Event Viewer logs IMPAX activity and produces an audible beep when it receives an incoming event. Activity may include errors, diagnostics, or information on processes completed by IMPAX. To hear the audible beep, your computer must be configured with a PC speaker or sound card.
The Event Viewer contains valuable information. Monitor it regularly for study exceptions and take the appropriate action. For example, the event type READ_STUDY_MODIFIED indicates that new images were added to a read study. If more images come in after a study is reported, this clinical information is appended to the study, but potentially may not factor into the report. Misdiagnosis may result if the event is not monitored and handled appropriately.
