If a job fails or a device is malfunctioning, jobs in error status may pile up in the queue. Although your system continues to function normally with a large queue, clearing errors from the queue regularly maximizes system performance. You can delete selected jobs from the queue or you can query the queue to locate jobs with a common parameter that you want to delete.
After a job has been deleted it cannot be restored. The job must be regenerated before it appears in the queue again.
