Viewing cache information over a specified time period

The History tab of the Cache Monitor provides a graphical view of information about a selected cache.

If you select One Day from the Period list, the available data points in the previous 24 hours are retrieved (based on the server time). If you select One Week or Two Weeks, only every fourth data point is retrieved (1/4 points). Assuming the values are measured every 15 minutes, this results in a measurement once per hour.

To view cache information over a specified time period

  1. On the Monitor tab, click Cache Monitor.Cache Monitor

  2. Switch to the History tab.

  3. From the Station list, select the station you want cache information for.

  4. From the Period list, select the time period you want to view diagnostics for.

  5. From the Volume Type list, select the type of cache you want information for (Image Cache or Web Cache).

    This corresponds to the type selected when creating the cache volume.

  6. Click Chart. Chart

    The information appears in graphic form.

    If you see the message No data available for selected parameters, the station may not have a volume matching the type you selected in the previous step. Verify your selections.

  7. From the list at the side of the chart, select the data series you want to view information for.

    The selected options appear as data points on the graph.
