The error correction workflow begins if an error occurs and must be corrected in the RIS. The workflow ends when the Network Gateway corrects the information in the IMPAX database.
If a mistake has been made (for example, the patient's name was spelled incorrectly in the RIS):
The mistake is corrected in the RIS.
The correction is sent to the Connectivity Manager.
The Connectivity Manager corrects the information in its own database and sends a Patient Updated or Study Updated event (depending on whether patient or study data was updated) to the Network Gateway.
The Network Gateway corrects the information in the IMPAX database.
