The IMPAX Server comes with a number of DICOM utilities that are useful for manipulating DICOM images. If you are familiar with DICOM, you can manipulate the DICOM images to combine a header file and pixel file into a DICOM file for single-format systems or, conversely, to split a DICOM image file into header file and a pixel file for split-file systems. You can display the DICOM header information contained within a DICOM image object or transmit a DICOM image object to a DICOM device.
