Attribute classes can be added to the database; for example, to add a new modality. Available attributes and their default values are listed in List of available patient and study enumerated values attributes.
After an attribute class, name, and value are added to the database, they are available for users on the client interface.
To add an attribute to the database
On the Setup tab, click Enumerated Values Manager.
In the Attribute class field, type or select an attribute class.
In the Attribute name field, type or select an attribute name.
In the Values field, type the value for the attribute.
To update the changes, click Save.
Example: To add a modality attribute called CR
From the Attribute class list, select study.
From the Attribute name list, select modality.
In the Values field, type CR.
Users can now search for CR studies.
