IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Managing studies using worklists > Managing studies in worklists
You can export worklists so they can be imported on another IMPAX system. This is useful for initial setup, periodic synchronization of clusters, or sharing worklists with specific studies among radiologists.
Note the following behavior for imported worklists:
If a worklist was exported from the List area and imported into the List area, the worklist contains all default sorting definitions, any user customizations for sorting, and all the studies exported with the worklist.
If the worklist was exported from the Worklist Library and imported into the List area, the worklist only contains the default sorting definitions. Once the import is complete, a worklist query is automatically performed to populate the worklist.
If the worklist was exported from either the List area or the Worklist Library and imported into the Worklist Library, the worklist only contains the default sorting definitions.
![]() | Note: If you attempt to import a standard worklist from the personal worklist tab but you do not have permissions, the standard worklist is imported as a personal worklist. |
