Troubleshooting: Interim Knowledge Base pages are too bright

Issue

When changing from one topic to another in the IMPAX Client Knowledge Base, a bright white page “flashes” on the screen before the new topic is displayed.

Details

The color of the interim page is determined by the Windows color settings. By changing the color defined for windows, you can make this interim page less bright.

Solution

Change the window background color.

To modify window colors

1. Open Control Panel.

2. Select Display.

3. In the Display Properties dialog, switch to the Appearance tab.

4. In Windows XP or Windows 2003, click Advanced.

5. From the Item list, select Windows.

6. Click Color 1 and select a less bright color than white, such as gray or off-white.

7. Click OK.

   The screen refreshes with the new background color.
