Troubleshooting: Voice comments are not working

Issue

Voice comments have stopped working.

Details

The Application Server may have been added to the Network Manager, which causes voice comments to stop functioning.

The IMPAX Server identifies an Application Server host by checking that the Application Server host does not exist as a station. Once the IMPAX Server has identified the Application Server host it will take care of opening the appropriate ports for their communication.

Solution

Remove the Application Server from the Network Manager. For details, consult "Deleting stations from the Network" (topic number 8996) in the Administration Tools component of the IMPAX 6.5.1 Server Knowledge Base.
